1) We cannot judge whether the conversion of KW is real or not!

Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared. “The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’ “‘An enemy did this,’ he replied. “The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’ “‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’” – Matthew 13:24-30

When wheat and weed come out of the ground and grow, you cannot see what is wheat and what is weed. Therefore you cannot judge! Jesus says: “Each tree is recognized by its own fruit.” Which means that you can only judge over time whether someone is wheat or weed.

2) Everyone on the team of Jesus is for Jesus, so also KW!

Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel. As a result, it has become clear throughout the whole palace guard and to everyone else that I am in chains for Christ. And because of my chains, most of the brothers and sisters have become confident in the Lord and dare all the more to proclaim the gospel without fear. It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill. The latter do so out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel. The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains. But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice. – Philippians 1:12-18

Paul was in prison and there were other preachers that were jealous of the way God used Paul. They preached in freedom and they were happy to show this, while Paul could not, because he was in prison. But Paul did not become jealous. On the contrary! Paul says: “There are preachers that preach with false motives, and there are preachers that preach with true motives. But what does it matter? Christ is preached anyway! That is the most important.”

3) Be careful who your counselors are!

An overseer in church must not be a recent convert, or he may become conceited and fall under the same judgment as the devil. – 1 Timothy 3:6

Just because KW is very famous, very popular and a musical genius, does not mean that this applies in the spiritual as well. KW is a new convert and therefore spiritually still a baby! Everything that he says on Twitter, television, radio, internet etc. comes from a spiritual baby.

KW still has to grow and needs to learn a lot of spiritual lessons the coming time. This will involve trial and error.

Give KW space to do this!
